CASE, USA A SCARCE WORLD WAR TWO SURVIVAL BOWIE-KNIFE, MODEL 'V44', no visible serial number, with substantial 9 1/4in. roach-belly bowie blade with twin single line narrow blind fullers to each side, the left face signed 'CASE XX', heavy brass cross-guard with bulbous quillions, smooth black plastic grips with off-set pommel, generally fine condition with period but probably incorrect leather scabbard embossed 'COLLINS & CO LEGIT MUS' together with the arm and hammer trademark, the number '18; and decorative borders and belt loop (scabbard almost certainly from a Carson's Raiders 'Gung-Ho' knife), some wear and stitching undone at tip
